PACKAGING!



The Why and How of Packaging is a whole management chapter by itself, but here we will just list points.
Protection – It protects your product from getting damaged (this is true for physical goods). For service oriented products, it works as a projector.
Attraction – Bright colors and attractive packing have always pulled consumers to them. Multinational companies spend a sizable amount of their budgeting on getting the packaging right, just to ensure sales.
Promotion – It gives you an opportunity to add snippets about the product or how it was made. This gives the client an insight into your values and ethos. For instance, if you are someone into handmade products, it talks about your creativity, your creation and your passion for your art.
Marketing – The package is also a great means of marketing. It is a means of communication and your chance to tell the client and people she interacts with about your company.
Calling card – The package your pack your product in is your calling card. It is the one place where you can place you Logo out bold for the world to see.
Storage – Packing also helps is being able to store the product safely, easily, in stalks or in boxes. It makes for easy storage.
